First off, let me say what an amazing book this. It's actually a conclusion to a lengthy short story. To tell you the truth, I haven't read any of the other books in the series, I was just taken back by this particular book. The story focuses around the diary Equality 7-2521, a man that lives in a future where individualism is completely lost, and any form of self does not exist. Even simple words such as "I" and "Me" are banned! The reason I found this story so interesting was I never thought about how fortunate I am to just be me. Since I have read this book, I have come to see that many people take this gift for granted. It truly is a blessing to be able to have a sense of self.
"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the the life you've imangined."
One mans struggle to be what many take for granted.

Sometimes we are just so consumed with pleasing other people that we forget about ourselves. That was one of my worse battles.
